Calm down folks. It’s only some idiot getting a few seconds of infamy. Tomorrows chip paper lol

  4. SwordfishMarketing says:

It’s a sad day when cycling fans behave like the worst soccer fans.

  5. SwordfishMarketing says:

    Exactement.

Chapeau Sky. Chapeau Froome. A superb ride from a nice guy. Une tour superbe d’un nice guy

  7. stalkek says:

But don’t generalise about nations based on actions of individuals. The guy who posted this video is French & so is it fair to write: “My problem is the way ‘they’ (the French) treated Chris Froome this year.” Just deal with individuals rather than imaginary collectives. It’s clar from this footage there’s a fair few witnesses very unhappy with what they saw.

  8. aglawiparis says:

Still nothing to do with the video.. According to the author, “Sky car was hit by a camper van backing up”, where do you read the words “doping” or “Virenque” ? You’re totally off topic.
Now if your purpose is to report that hooliganism shouldn’t exist in sports, I agree with you ; but I remember where hooliganism has been created and I know it was not a question of doping or nationality but a question of morons drinking too much then fighting. Surely not a “french” problem.

  9. Joseph Carroll says:

I imagine your next response will be again to ask what has the Team Sky altercation have to do with Virenque? So to answer that it comes back to my first point. There were a lot of French fans on the side of road this year that targeted Team Sky and their riders with ‘hatred’ (thought that was illegal in France) in their eyes and words, accusing them of doping yet idolise a former doper in Virenque. It is hypocritical, if you cannot see this then i’m done.

  10. Joseph Carroll says:

I wasn’t talking about a hate crime. Perhaps ‘dislike’ would have been a more apt word. I have no strong feelings for Team Sky either way. I actually ‘hated’ the way they controlled the 2012 tour and have genuine suspicions about Wiggins rise from track star to Tour podium. If either Wiggins or Froome fail a test they should be thrown to the wolves and certainly not have a future job reporting on the tour. I ‘hate’ cheats but you carry on yeah….allez Richard allez!

  11. aglawiparis says:

I don’t have to hate anybody, nor Virenque, nor Froome. Hate is not something you should feel and is forbidden by law in France. I understand you have a problem with Virenque, but his story has already come to an end. Will you react the same way when/if Froome will be/is caught ? Or is it just an anti-Virenque comment, that has nothing to do with the Sky team altercation ?

  12. aglawiparis says:

  16. maico says:

This sort of thing as been going on for years. In the 1950′s Italian riders were pelted with stones and some French spectators tried to stick branches through riders wheels.
In more recent times riders get sprayed with water from syringes and called doping cheats.
This year Rolland and Wout Poels got knocked off their bikes on Alpe D’Huez by drunk French and Dutch fans fighting. The sky team car was also surrounded and damaged by Dutch hooligans.

  17. kissekitadissa says:

  18. Green Man says:

  21. ahbm36 says:

eg in L’Equipe (type l’Equipe and “Froome comme Armstrong?” Its seems the to me that they are upset that other “étrangers”/strangers/foreigners are actually alowed to be in the Tour de France. It’s not like their good old days when only the French rode (plus one rather excellent Belgian)

  22. ahbm36 says:

I agree…I live in France, I like the French. But there is something Nationalist and nasty about the way they don’t like Sky and Froome. You should have seen an article by L’Equipe entited “Froome, comme (like) Armstrong?” Why not have the title “Froome, like Virenque?”. And have you seen Virenque’s Sarcastic posts on his Facebook site. Grrrrrrrrr

  23. Edward Socías says:

    French people ….

  24. Paul Etherton says:

    Imbécile

  25. Paul Etherton says:

The French cycling press treat Chris Froome as some sort of criminal even though there is not a shred of evidence, I think the majority of the English like the French but the French media are awful, as soon as a British guy puts in a good performance he must be doping…

Look at all this anti-whitism. In the 60′s, anti-whites forced ALL and ONLY white countries to bring in millions of non-whites. Then anti-whites forced ALL and ONLY white people to “integrate” or face penalties for being “naziswhowantokill6millionjews.” Now anti-whites are praising and counting down the days till ALL and ONLY white children are minorities and extinct EVERYWHERE. That makes it genocide. “Anti-racist” is a codeword for anti-white. /watch?v=lKDeyuM0-Og

the claims are completely stupid and silly.
eastern europe has its own history of ethnic cleansings in the caucases.
the immigrants go for western europe because of the ultra liberal policies they have for immigrants.
you wouldnt last a day with the polish, russians and balkans if your an immigrant.and they dont apologize for their racist policies either.
however even some countries in western europe tend not to be so liberal either like iceland and luxembourg

  29. StarvinMarvin638 says:

She is too soft, but she is the best France got. Are Native French people still allowed to gather in large numbers? Muslim sure show what religion of peace is all about near Paris. Well it would be worse under Germans, eh?

  30. KarenDian1 says:

Marine Le Pen is a breath of fresh air! As a second generation immigrant, I agree people should adopt the laws and traditions of the country they live in…The when in Rome scenerio! And also, it is important to contribute to your new country, not expect hand outs!

  31. baller84milw says:

We need anti-elitist, anti-globalist, anti-immigrant, pro-sovereign, pro-traditionalist and pro-racialist revolution throughout Europe. Europe for Europeans!

The politically correct caviar socialists who force-feed mass immigration onto a native population that apparently has no choice in the matter.

The ruling elites do not care since the massive influx of low-skilled labor puts downward pressure on wages, helping industrialist’s profit more easily. Besides, these elite’s lives are not affected by the rapid demographic changes on the ground in nations like France.

It’s the working class that cares. THEY are the ones having their wages undercut.

  39. Meneope says:

Why do you elect them then?
If they don’t represent your views and the people are sooo intelligent and discovered and invented everything in the world and have the biggest IQ in the world, why do you people still elect a government that doesn’t represent the people? Are you not able to vote freely? Don’t you have democracy? What happen to the big IQ of your people? Why can’t you work it out?

  40. Meneope says:

Dude you’re mad. You’ve gone insane. You’ve got this paranoid thinking that you’re being persecuted, that I or other people are trying to make you feel ‘guilty’ of imperialism or whatever!?! Who’s punishing you for your imperialism!?!
WHO’S PUNISHING YOU FOR YOUR IMPERIALISM? Please tell me? WHO?

  41. Meneope says:

End of the day. Japan didn’t colonise, Japan is therefore only a centre of power in its region and therefore only pull people mostly from its region; Europe colonised the world and therefore received more diverse immigration. Note the immigrants came to Western Europe, their centres of power, not to Eastern Europe; even to this day E.Europe is mostly white. This is no accident, that’s the way things work, you get the tree for the seed you sow.

  42. Meneope says:

Dude, nobody is anti-white here. [well not me anyway]. The problem is in your mind. I’m telling you the way things are. What double standards? White population is below replacement level, what do you want me to do about it? Force white women to have more babies?

I didn’t get your point about the diversity-double standard thing sorry. Japan is also below replacement level I’d have you known though I’m not sure that changes anything into this conversation since I’m not even sure what’s your point

  43. Meneope says:

My point was the US invested in them and they succeeded. These regions were geopolitically powerful during the Cold War.
The reason Japan doesn’t have an ‘immigration problem’ with Africans, Arabs and Muslims is because they never colonised these people, intervene in their domestic affairs and effect regime change. China and Japan are satisfied with what they have. They don’t want colonialism, Globalisation or World Domination. Few people can even understand their language.

  44. Meneope says:

Well like I said, repatriate all your whites from the 6 continents and expel all non-whites from the 5 remaining continents. It’s only fair. You can’t expect whites to be allowed to exist, own lands, resources and even Governments on lands that were not their’s [following your logic] on the 6 continents and expect Europe to be ONLY for whites because whites should be more privileged to have a continent just for themselves! And of course you’re not being racist! I’m the one who’s racist here! Lol

  45. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

Know the white but keep to the black. To be the fountain of the world is to live the abundant life of virtue.

  46. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

There are white people who enjoy the fact that you make your comment the way you do. They are in full hate of their own colonial past and they believe that they are infact decendants of a selfish race.

  47. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

It happens daily that a white father sees his white daughter dress sexy and comes home with a black boy from in the town. This father has no choice but to accept the will of his daughter. Accept reality. He drops his racism and moves on because he wants to stay on good terms with his daughter. This happens on a daily basis.

  48. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

You should understand that not every white person has a view like you there are many whites who don’t care about race and don’t care about mixing. Remember that always when you try to make a point. White children growing up today never knew another world. They see the multiracial reality as normal. Therefor i advise you to drop your restraint. Shift your focus from being upset to being balanced.

  49. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

Don’t bother, just fade away. Let them have the world. Let them try to govern it without us. I’m sure they will do fine.

  50. Christophilus Van Bouwel says:

    You are 100% right.
